A FALL FROM GRACE.
Sex- starved, well-to-do lonely women are easy targets for con men who are out to no good. That is what plays out in Perry Tyler's movie, A Fall from Grace.
Caution is required when a man, out of the blue suddenly shows up and begin to be so nice and loving, making you feel you have been used and ill-treated by your ex. They take you through their carefully orchestrated plot to the point where you lower your guard of never to fall in love again until you sink nonchalantly into love in reckless abandon.
When you no longer have any doubt about their sincerity and after they have gotten what they want from you, their true colour surfaces. Then you begin to wonder where the flawless angelic romance and 'love' they showered on you initially went?
Grace, a divorced single mother and a banker is facing a death sentence for the murder of her con husband, Shannon and for siphoning huge some of money in the bank where she works. She pleads guilty and does not want a lawyer. Mrs Briant (Brenda Webb) is tasked by Mr Rory (Perry Tyler) her boss to ensure Grace pleads guilty so that she can face the full wrath of the law.
However, a foray into her life through the discussion between Mrs Briant reveals Grace that may not be guilty in the first place. Intrigue and interest makes Briant pay a visit to Grace's supposed friend, Mrs Beverly who claims her friend is incapable of murder. While there, she notices a haggard looking old woman sneaks away from the window and later into another room while she discusses with her host. Further claims and counter claims from both counsel and the defence seems to turn the case against Grace who is condemned to die.
Through a twist of fate, Grace notices the neckless on her friend's neck while the latter consoles her son after the judge's sentence. This same necklace, she recalls Shannon wears when they first met.
Going back to the beginning of her ordeal through flashback. She realizes Shannon could be the culprit afterall. Realizing her stupidly for disagreeing to have a lawyer defend her, she screams to have Mrs Briant come to her defend her case one more time.
Fortunately, the case receives a new review and the supposed guilty Grace receives her freedom.
Let me stop here. There is more to come.
I am yours truly,
